Drivetrain is committed to building and maintaining customer trust by delivering the highest standards of data security and privacy. As part of this commitment, we constantly invest in initiatives to protect sensitive customer data.
We’re glad to announce that Drivetrain recently obtained the SOC 2 Type II attestation report which shows our continued dedication to upholding our promise to protect customer data.
What is SOC 2 compliance?
Developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the System and Organization Controls, SOC 2® information security standard is an auditing procedure designed to ensure that service organizations securely manage data to protect the interests and privacy of their customers. It defines the criteria for managing customer data based on five “trust service principles” — security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy.
What does this mean for our customers?
Our customers trust us with some of their most important financial, business and operational data.
This independent third-party SOC 2 attestation of our systems and controls around handling customer data testifies that our software development processes and practices meet the required levels of oversight and monitoring to assess, minimize, and eliminate risks and vulnerabilities.
We plan to continue to obtain periodic SOC 2 Type II reports, as well as additional compliance certifications in future. Such regular comprehensive audits and continued investments in data security and privacy ensure that our customer data is always protected.
